Tokyo 64 Olympic PictogramsCard Set
A match-up game (which isn’t meant to be easy) pairing pictograms with sport names, all in different languages. Made to demonstrate the significance of the Olympic Pictograms designed for the Tokyo games in 1964. The design team created a new universal visual language, easily recognisable to international visitors who couldn’t speak Japanese.

A project which came through my dissertation research on ‘Geopolitical Influence on Post-War Japanese Graphic Design.’
