About
Snail Ale is an alcohol-free beer brand made for “taking things slow”. Created to challenge the stigma around alcohol-free drinking and to encourage a more inclusive approach to social drinking. The aim is for people not to feel left out, for those who still want to enjoy the flavour of beer and the company.
The playful identity is centred around the snail character, a symbol of slowness and ease. There are five classic flavours, each matched with different everyday scenarios, some social settings and some independent, such as Fine Dining with Another Snail and Intellectual Snail Reading Away. To expand the concept, I created a limited edition Outdoor range, broadening the scenarios buyers might consider choosing an alcohol-free beer, for example, On a Stroll Through the Forest.
